Above the Treeline is pleased to announce that W.W. Norton & Company has selected Edelweiss, Above the Treeline's interactive publisher catalog system, to publish their frontlist catalogs on the web. With the addition of Norton's frontlist titles, Edelweiss' web-based publisher catalogs will encompass more than 31,000 titles across 450 imprints from 18 publishers.
Retailers, librarians, publicists, and other end users of publisher catalogs will be able to view Norton's Spring 2010 titles, beginning in mid-November 2009.
Bill Rusin, Norton's Vice President Director of Sales and Marketing, said that the system was a good fit for the publisher's needs: "Edelweiss is the perfect digital catalog for us to use in marketing our titles to retailers and other book professionals. The system will allow our reps to communicate and collaborate with our customers like never before, and will provide a great web-based platform for promoting our frontlist in the digital age."
"We are very excited to have Norton joining the Edelweiss system," said Treeline CEO John Rubin. "The quality and distinctiveness of their list will bring tremendous value to the many book professionals who rely upon Edelweiss, and to the other participating publishers."
