Readers & Retailers > Catalogs & Markups > Filtering in the List View
When you're in a catalog in the List View, you have access to filtering by a number of different title attributes in order to screen certain types of titles. As with a catalog's order sequence preference, filters are stored as cookies on your computer, so they'll impact your view as you move from one catalog to another and will still be in place after logging out of Edelweiss and back in again. They will remain in place until you clear or re-set them. To apply a filter, use the Filter link above the first title of the catalog to get to the menu of available options. Filter Options: Category: This filter lets you pick as many of the major or minor BISAC categories as you like. Select individual categories, click Add to move them to the right hand pane, and Apply at the bottom of the window. Format: Choose from all of the primary/secondary BISAC binding codes, e.g. paperback, hardcover, etc. Audience: Limit the Children's titles you're viewing by one or a range of ages or grades Pub Date: Select an individual month or range Publisher: This is the Edelweiss vendor, or umbrella distribution company, e.g. Ingram Publishing Services, Quayside, Random House, Hachette, HarperCollins, etc. Imprint: Choose from all of the imprints or unique publishers distributed by a particular vendor. In some cases, a single imprint may actually be listed multiple times, especially if they have multiple divisions, such as young readers and adult. Price: Select the price range you'd like to view Priority: View the titles your rep has marked High, Low, or Not Set; the default is Not Set. To see any Hidden titles, choose the Show Hidden option from the Actions menu. Note: this option will not be available if your rep has not hidden any titles. Suggestions: See all titles within that catalog for which your rep has recommended an order quantity for your organization Order Status: Use this to quickly identify which titles you have ordered, intentionally not ordered (by inputting 0), or not yet reviewed/decided upon Tag: View only the titles to which you've applied a specific tag You can pick and combine as many of these filters as you'd like to help you find or view only kinds of titles. Just be sure to click Apply after setting your values for one filter and before adding another. Your applied filters are shown like this at the top of the List View: Hover over each filter name to view the specific criteria used. As mentioned above, these filters will stay in place until you clear them. To clear all filters, click on the Clear link that's to the right of the Filter link. Or to remove one at a time, click Filter and remove filter values individually. Note that your reps have access to the same filters as you and therefore can do the same kind of title screening. This may be handy when you are reviewing a markup together and want to discuss specific kinds of titles as a group, e.g. high priority fiction titles.
