    Above the Treeline for Suppliers

What It Is and How It Works

Web and email-accessible service which pulls daily sales and inventory from retailer point-of-sale systems. Suppliers can see aggregate on-hand, on-order and sales data and, with retailer permission, individual retailer data through highly visual charts and graphs. The service also provides communication mechanisms for suppliers to send suggestions, market promotions and post title lists of key inventory lists.

    Major Features

    Treeline Top Sellers
This feature gives supplier the ability to quickly see what bestselling titles retailers may be missing from their inventory. Above the Treeline also matches the list directly with the retailer's own inventory, so the supplier salesforce knows which titles are currently in stock, have at one time been in stock, or have never been in stock. Results can be filtered by category, supplier, region, etc.

    Title Lists
Suppliers can upload multiple title lists to be viewed by supplier employees and/or retailers. Typical supplier title lists include hot-selling titles, seasonal recommendations, promotions, etc. Suppliers can view retailer inventory in a multicolored pie chart showing the titles on an individual list that are either in stock, on order, out-of-stock, or have never been in stock.

    Make/Communicate Suggestions
For any title, suppliers can make suggestions and explain the rationale behind those suggestions to retailer buyers. Results can be communicated through the site, through email or through Excel.

    Market Share
By category, suppliers can see what their share of the market has been. Results can be filtered by time, region, published date, etc.. Top seller data is also available across suppliers by category (for some markets)

    Email Notifications
Above the Treeline can be accessed from any Internet-connected computer. In addition, much of the information mentioned above can be accessed through customizable e-mail reports that can be sent to suppliers daily, weekly, or monthly.
