Mark,
The last of the fall regional trade shows finished up this past weekend in Los Angeles (SCIBA).  I was there to present Edelweiss to a group of about 35 booksellers and publisher reps.  We gained a lot by attending all of the shows and hope that those of you who attended Edelweiss sessions learned something new.  As always, let us know if you have any questions or suggestions!

As noted last week, the Edelweiss to Wordstock interface is very, very, nearly complete.  I hope to be able to announce its availability in next week's update, but the final testing continues to ensure that users do not get any unpleasant surprises.
Tip of the Week
"Binding" orders is a good way to ensure that order quantities you or your staff enter for a mailing or catalog get put onto the right orders.  You can bind an order to a particular publisher, catalog, or publisher rep.

However, keep in mind that when you bind an order to a rep, you are essentially making it available only within a catalog that specific rep customized for you.  So if you copy a generic catalog from the Available Catalogs folder into your Working Folder, that order will not appear in the dropdown list of available orders. See more info on binding right here.
