Edelweiss Weekly Update – Monday, August 3, 2009
We offer free Webex-based demo’s twice per week for Retailers and other Catalog Readers. “Reply” to me if you want more info on how to sign up. Publisher reps: we can also work with you to schedule training. Just let us know.
TIP OF THE WEEK
I’ve mentioned in the past how you can easily send hyperlinks to particular titles within Edelweiss, even to non-registered users. Hyperlinks can also be used to send results of keyword searches and location of particular catalogs or publishers. For example, see the Diamond Books catalogs below that are linked to their list views within Edelweiss. However, remember that filters are user-specific and will not follow your link. Also, links to keyword search results require that the recipient of the link be logged into Edelweiss (thus be a registered user) to see the search results.
