Above the Treeline is looking for a support technician with an exceptional commitment to delighting customers, the enthusiasm to learn our products inside and out, and the insight to understand our customer’s point of view. This position requires an aptitude for understanding software, a technical bent, and superb communications skills.

  • Email and phone support
  • Coach and train users
  • Manage support tickets efficiently, with patience, and diligent follow-up
  • Accurately report bugs and feature requests
  • Other duties as assigned

 

The ideal person to join our team is someone who has:

 

  • Three years of experience in retail or other service positions
  • Outstanding communication skills and is a great listener
  • The ability to juggle priorities, stay organized, and still be ultra-responsive to customers
  • The ability to troubleshoot software problems and think methodically
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Experience working with data feeds and FTP
  • Good understanding of the internet and web browsers
  • Experience testing software
  • Experience in the book or publishing industry
  • Enjoys being a part of a creative, fun team
